HCEF’s biggest program is the I3, the “imagine, invent, impact,” Harvard College “Innovation Challenge,” an $80,000 competition that awards Harvard undergraduates and their teams with money to start their own ventures. The i3 began in 2007, and witnessed tremendous success. This year, the i3 is expanding from simply a business plan competition to a whole year educational and interactive curriculum, including an “Elevator Pitch Competition,” an “Executive Summary Competition,” and the full “Business Plan Competition.”
